Sushi

How fun was this. I already had a couple cakes lined up for the same day when this request came along. At first I passed on it, but then reconsidered because it sounded like so much fun.


My scale is a bit off, I think I should have made the pieces a little bit smaller, but overall they look pretty good.

Yum, Tamago and Ebi! Also, some strange looking Temaki.

The Kid's all time favorite, Tobiko! She took one look at it and said "Tobiko cake?!" It's always a good sign when the 7 year old recognizes the object.

This picture has some Gari (picked ginger) garnish, later I added some Wasabi, but forgot to take a picture of it.

I want some real sushi now.
