AVAST!!

These two pirate themed cakes are for the drama club cast party at The Kid's school. Obviously they're putting on a play about pirates. I've done a pirate themed cake in the past, these are a little more toned down.

I usually do a white and a chocolate cake for these events since there are alot of kids to feed.

This is the white cake.


This is the chocolate cake. The banner is the same one that is on their program.

It was difficult to get a good shot of the chocolate cake since it is so dark. Here is a better image of the details. Luckily The Kid had donated her Pirates of the Caribbean toys to my decorating stash, so I had some toppers I could add without having to make my own.
