Rock and roll cakes seem to be one of my most requested these days.

This time a Rock and Roll Cat.

Not much guidance again on this one, just some favorite colors, and the kind of cat she wanted.

The cat ended up being pretty cute, but working with gumpaste and fondant can be difficult sometimes. There is a fine line between letting the paste dry so that it is stable, and letting it dry too much so that it is impossible to attatch to another piece.

Her microphone hand was originally up higher, but began to sag as the day wore on.
This cat even had a bit of a wire armature inside her.

The star cutters my firend Jen gave me are really coming in handy these days.
